What I collect
Short version: a contact form, and nothing else. No analytics, no advertising trackers, no cookies of my own. Last updated 27 July 2026.
The contact form
If you fill in the form on the contact page, it sends me your name, email address, project type, your message, and your phone number if you chose to add one. That goes straight to my inbox as an email. It is delivered by Resend, an email service, which processes it in transit.
I use it to reply to you and to do the work if we end up working together. I don't sell it, I don't add you to a mailing list, and I don't share it with anyone else.
Spam protection
The form endpoint keeps a short-lived count of submissions per IP address in memory so bots can't flood it. It holds that for ten minutes and then discards it. It isn't written to a database and it isn't linked to anything you sent.
Hosting logs
The site runs on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs of requests, including IP addresses. That is ordinary hosting infrastructure and I don't use those logs for anything beyond checking the site is working.
Embedded video
The work and video editing pages embed players from Vimeo. Those are loaded from Vimeo, so Vimeo sees the request. I set Vimeo's do-not-track flag on every embed, which tells it not to build an analytics profile or set tracking cookies for your visit.
Getting your details removed
Email me at danielcbrown17@gmail.com and ask, and I'll delete the message and anything attached to it. You can also ask me what I still have. No particular process, just send a note.
