Freelance Video Editor

I'm a video editor and motion designer, 11 years in, working remotely. I take a wide range of work. A lot of it is corporate and training video, but I also cut testimonials and interviews, social and YouTube, motion graphics, real estate, and finishing on other people's edits.

Alongside freelance work I supervise post-production for a high-volume templated video operation. That job is about getting a lot of work out on a schedule without it getting sloppy, and it's most of the reason I'm fast.

What I edit

Each of these has its own page with what's included and who usually sends me that kind of work. If what you need isn't listed, ask anyway. I've cut most things at least once.

I quote each project once I know what the footage is and what you need back. Send me the details and you'll get a number.

A few pieces

Three to look at. Everything else, including motion graphics, episodic and testimonial work, is on the work page.

How it usually goes

You send the footage and tell me what it's for. I come back with scope, a price and a date. You get a first cut early enough to change direction rather than at the end, and then we do revision rounds until it's right.

How fast depends on the footage and how many versions you need, so I'm not going to put a number on a web page and then miss it. I'm quick. Tell me the date you need it by when you send the job and I'll tell you straight away whether that's realistic, rather than finding out halfway through.

Revisions run until it's right. I don't count rounds. I deliver in whatever formats and specs you need. If you want a call at any point that's fine, but nothing here requires one.

Need an editor who ships?

Tell me what you've got and what it's for. If I'm not the right person for it I'll say so instead of taking the job.
