I'm Dan Brown, a video editor and motion designer. I've been doing this professionally for 11 years, remotely from Colorado.
Most of my work is corporate and training video. Explainers, brand films, course content, testimonials. For the last six years I've also supervised post-production for a high-volume templated video operation, where I own the template library and built the render automation the whole thing runs on.
People come to me for one of two things. Either they need an editor, or they need the thing that lets a small team ship a lot of video without hiring more editors.

I came up as an editor. Running an operation that had to ship a lot of work on a schedule is what pushed me into building the systems behind it, and I still do both.
