Sometimes the edit is done and the thing holding it up is that it looks inconsistent or sounds bad. This is that work on its own: matching shots across a piece, grading it, cleaning up dialogue, mixing it, and getting the delivery specs right.
I do my own audio post rather than sending it out, which is less common than it should be for a finishing pass.
From $400 per projectPriced per piece. A series or a back catalog gets quoted together, which is cheaper than sending them one at a time.
Where I've done this
I do mixing, sound design and repair in iZotope RX, Ableton Live and Audition. I also design and sell commercial audio plugins under my own label, Stomptones, so this is closer to a specialty than something I picked up on the side. On the picture side, color correction and finishing are part of every piece on this site.

Common questions
- Can you fix audio that was recorded badly?
- Often. Room echo, air conditioning, hum, inconsistent levels and mic bumps are routine. Send a sample and I'll tell you whether it's recoverable before you pay for anything.
- What do you need from me?
- Either the project file or an export, plus the original audio if you still have it. The project file gives a better result but an export is workable.
- Do you work to a reference look?
- Yes. Send stills or a video whose look you want and I'll match it. That's usually faster than describing it.
- Can you deliver to broadcast or platform loudness specs?
- Yes. Tell me where it's going and I'll deliver to that spec.
