Testimonial & Interview Video Editing
Someone talks for an hour and about four minutes of it is good. Finding those four minutes and putting them in an order that makes sense is the whole job.
I've done this with customer testimonials, executive interviews, admissions interviews and podcast conversations, single-camera and multicam both.
Where I've done this
I cut multicam admissions interviews for Admit.me, taking an hour of raw footage down to under five minutes against a house style, for top US business schools. The Bonded By Blonde testimonial on this site is the same format at its shortest. I've also done multicam podcast video and audio for Improper Etiquette, and the Flanders anniversary film was built out of interviews.

Common questions
- How much raw footage can you take?
- As much as you have. I price the finished piece, so an hour of interview and four hours of interview cost the same.
- Do I need to log the good takes first?
- No. Send it as it came off the card. I'll use your notes or a transcript if you already have them, but I don't need you to make them.
- Our interview audio isn't great. Can it be saved?
- Usually. Room tone, air conditioning, echo and inconsistent levels are all normal and fixable. Send a sample before you write the footage off.
- Can I get short clips from the same interview?
- Yes, and it's the cheapest part of the project because the footage is already there.
